Sofia Martinez

Sofia graced this world with her presence on October 1, 1983.

Beautiful, outspoken, and hardworking are all words that easily describe Sofia. Nails done, a glass of wine, and her children is all that she needed for a good time. Her favorite titles were daughter, sister, and most important of all Mother. Although she was not afraid to speak her mind she was one of the most caring women around. The Lord called our “Angel”, as she claimed to be, home on August 11, 2018. Sofia attended North Shore High school and went on to continue her education at Texas School of Business and San Jacinto College. Always trying to improve herself to provide a better life for her children. Sofia is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Alma Mancias. She leaves behind her greatest accomplishments, her children Angelique, Jazamarie, Isaiah, Elijah, Jeremiah, and Nevaeh Alma. She was loved by her childrens fathers Homero Orta and Fredrico Pena. She is survived by her siblings Sonia Martinez, Leonard Mancias, Mr & Mrs Lazaro Martinez Jr., Elisa Martinez, and Ruben Martinez. Also by her sister in laws Elsa, Margarita, and Zabia. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 7:00 PM, August 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until service time.
