Arlene Kraxberger Dyess

Arlene Kraxberger Dyess, 80 of LaPorte, peacefully passed in her sleep and went to be with our Lord on January 8th, 2025. Arlene was preceded in death by her mother and father Phyllis and Vincent Kraxberger and brother Bill Kraxberger.  Arlene is survived by daughter Mellany Bell and her husband Timmy Bell and grandsons Kory Poole and Kolby Poole along with many friends.

Arlene was born on February 15, 1944 in Arvada, Colorado. Arlene touched the lives of all who knewher with her tender heart and undeniable sense of humor. She was kind and generous to a fault. She loved to shop and was at times very opinionated.  She was the epitome of a good, strong, and selfless woman. Arlene had the patience of no other and the humor to raise your spirits with laughter.

Above all, she was a kind and caring person and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors 4:00 pm Saturday January 25, 2025, in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, Texas 281-476-4693.

Lord, there are times when we have doubted your plan for life. Seasons of grief have made it hard to see that there will be laughter and peace once again. Help us trust in your promise of comfort in those moments. Your unfailing love will be the comfort to all seeking your guidance. May we take the joy and wisdom we have gained from life's tests. Praise, God, in Jesus name. Amen
