Barry graduated from Clear Creek High School while living in Dickinson, Texas. He attended Joliet Junior College, where he joked that he majored in “tennis and girls.” He worked at Ben Franklin for several years before spending the majority of his career in inside sales at various industrial machine shops. He retired from CGP after 17 years. Barry truly did it all—quality control, sales, ISO audits, permits, IT—but the best part was that he did it all with a smile.
Barry loved to water ski, camp, fish, play tennis and racquetball, and even played the trumpet. He delighted in music and sang beautifully. He cherished vacations with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was known for sharing the best “dad jokes” and for having one of the kindest hearts.
Barry is survived by many loved ones, including his wife of 10 years, Joy Webb; daughter Shanna Perrone (husband Patrick) of Deer Park; son Shane Webb (wife Sarah) of Irving; son Shaun Webb (wife Ashley) of Deer Park; and daughter Sharla Ellis (husband Ben) of La Porte. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Jonathan Beckham-Brink (wife Sara) and Cassie McMillan (husband Josh), along with 18 grandchildren: Savanna, Blake, Savannah, Kaylin, Lexi, Trevor, Shanna Joi, Daniel, Lydia, Wyatt, Walker, Autumn, Jackson, Ezra, Levi, John, Adelaide, and Emma.
He is also survived by his brothers, Doug Webb (wife Kathy) and Ronnie Webb, and—as he liked to say—“dozens of cousins.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Ellen Webb, his brother, Fred Webb (wife Cindy), and his sister-in-law, Patricia Lucy Williams Webb.
In his memory, may we all be more like Barry—laugh a little more, make someone smile, and share a hug. As he always said, “Love you more.”
