Betty Jean "Fayle" Pitts

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Betty Jean (Fayle) Pitts, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 3, 2025, she was 92. Betty was born on December 10, 1932, to parents Earl and Etta Fayle in La Porte, Texas.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Marion Mayes, Charles Fayle, Kathleen Herrod and Richard Fayle.

She is survived by son, Randy Hill and daughters, Laurie Booher, Karen Grounds and husband, David. Her grandchildren, Jonathan Hill, Andrea Gussoni, Paula Hill, Amber Nevill and husband Brian, Chase Booher, Hannah Patterson and husband Ian, Taylor Lasater, Shelby Fisher and husband Chris, Travis Wright, and wife Allison, Tamara Self and husband Austin and Ashlyn Grounds. She has 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.  She devoted her life to her three children. Her big heart, beautiful caregiving spirit, warmth, and sense of humor will be missed by everyone.

A visitation for friends and loved ones will be held at Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine St, Deer Park, TX 77536 at 11 am on Wednesday, April 9th, with a service at noon in the Chapel, followed by burial At Grandview Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers are Travis Wright, Curtis Herrod, Christopher Fisher and Chris Defrancis.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Hill, Easton Jones, Brooks Nevill and Beckham Nevill.
