Carl Wendell Craig

Carl Wendell Craig of Deer Park, Texas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 14, 2024.  Wendell was born in Hemphill, Texas April 24th, 1938, to Elije Felix and Hazel Vellena Craig.  He married the love of his life Barbara on September 7th, 1957.  Wendell was a man of many talents.  He retired from Millennium (Lyondell Basell) in supervision in 2003 after 37 years. He also had multiple business ventures through the years.Wendell was a loving, caring husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.  He will be missed deeply.

Wendell is preceded in death by his parents. Felix and Hazel Craig, sisters Doris Campbell, Norma Jean Guzman, June Lanell Harris, and brothers Felix and James Craig.He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Pamella Harvey and husband Robert, Carla Ellerbe and husband Jerry, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, February 22nd, 2024, in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will be at Grand View Cemetery.
