Carolyn Ruth Switzer of Pasadena, Texas passed away on July 9th, 2023. Carolyn was born in Port Arthur, TX on July 13th, 1943, to Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Hebert. Carolyn was married to Leslie B. Switzer Jr. on October 3rd, 1981. They were married 41 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Carolyn loved family get togethers, especially on birthdays and holidays; any chance to spend time with her family was very important to her. She loved watching the Houston Astros and game shows. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Leslie (Bernie) Switzer Jr., brother David Wayne Hebert & children: Wendy Lambright and husband Jimmy, Donna Ables and Joel Miculka, Tammy Betts and husband Darrel, James Hutchinson and wife Melissa, Scott Hutchinson and wife Christie, Douglas Switzer and wife Jennifer, Stephen Switzer and wife Natasha and David Switzer and wife Jennifer, grandchildren: Christopher Hutchinson and wife Keeley, Joshua Lambright and fiancé Shiane Delaney, Ashlynn Lambright, Alexis Ables, Melissa Belletto, Cassie Ambrose, Bubba Belletto, Logan Betts, Hannah Betts, Andrew Hutchinson, Tori Hutchinson, Kyle Martinez, Brooke Hutchinson, Caleb Switzer, Jacob Switzer, Isaac Switzer, Troy, Michael, Emily Switzer, Jeremy, Kevin, Kaitlyn Switzer, Ben Switzer, Bryan Switzer, Brittany Jordan & Candace Morales, great-grandchildren: Bryson Hutchinson, Clayton Hutchinson, Beaux Lambright & Dean Switzer. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Carolyn is proceeded in death by her parents Lela and Arthur Hebert, Brothers Danny and Arthur Hebert & sister Patsy Krause.
Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday July 22, 2023, in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, Texas 77536.
