David Pool

David Pool passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on September 25, 1973, in Pasadena, Texas. He attended Deer Park schools and graduated from Deer Park High School in 1992. David lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his family and friends, and a profound love for the outdoors.

David built a dedicated career in the technology industry. And then spent the last 20 years at Enterprise Products. Beyond his profession, he was a loving husband and father. In addition, he was a supportive son, a caring brother, and a loyal friend to many. He was a constant presence in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

David was often found tinkering in the garage, shooting hoops with our son, working out, hanging out with friends, or having movie nights with his family. He had an adventurous spirit--he loved jet skiing, boating, cycling, and other outdoor activities. He found joy in simple pleasures and made lasting memories with those closest to him.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; son, Landon; his mother, Toni; his brother, Michael; sister-in-law, Tasha; niece, Chloye; nephews, Ashton and Jaxon; stepbrother, Keith Buchanan; sister-in-law, Karen Buchanan; sons Aiden and Brady; stepsister Monica Myer and her husband, Andre and daughter Whittany; and nephew Matthew Woodring; sister-in-law, Laura Woodring; and parents-in-law Butch and June Woodring.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Pool; grandparents, Cookie and Raymond Pool and Marguerite and Herman Lawless; and brother-in-law, David Woodring.

We would love for family and friends to join us for a Celebration of Life honoring David. This service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine St., Deer Park, TX 77536.
