Felicia Lynn Lane

Felicia Lynn Lane, age 62, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away in her home on October 4, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. 

Felicia was born December 20, 1960, in Pasadena, Texas, to Billy Jack and Evelyn McMayon.  She married her husband, Robert Lane, Sr., in 1989.  They had three sons, Robert, Jr., Timothy, and Jordan.  Felicia loved spending time surrounded by family and friends.  She always lived with a strong faith in God.  Throughout her home, she had many handwritten bible verses that helped her remain spiritually strong when her body was weak.  Even after Parkinson’s had left her mostly immobile, she listened to the Holy Spirit’s call and drove with Robert to Oregon to share The Good News with a cousin who was dying of cancer.  

Felicia was preceded in death by both her parents; her father-in-law, Floyd Lane; sister-in-law, Tammy Vandagriff; and her youngest son, Jordan Lane.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Lane, Sr., of Deer Park; her brother, Billy McMayon, and wife, Cathy, of Pearland, Texas; mother-in-law, Ann Lane, of Pasadena, Texas; sister-in-law, Tanya Webb, and husband, Lee, of Crosby, Texas;  son,  Robert Lane, Jr., and wife, Mona, of Oakwood, Texas; son, Timothy Lane, and wife, Heather, of Alvin, Texas; grandchildren,  Evangeline Lane of Plano, Texas; Millie James and her husband, Kevin, of Huntsville, Texas; Annie Lane and Robbie Lane, both of Oakwood, Texas;  Victoria Strohm, Nicole Lane, and Anthony Lane, of Alvin, Texas; many special cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 12, 2023, in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors.  Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time.  Interment will be Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
