Fernando "Tito" Cruz Jr. was born in Brownsville, Texas, on March 5, 1983, to Fernando Cruz Sr. and Ramona D. Ramos. On August 11, 2025, he went to be with the Lord, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Fernando was more than a son, father, brother, uncle, and friend - he was the heart of every gathering. His smile, his jokes, and his dancing could light up any room. He loved singing, playing basketball, racing his truck, and cheering on his Houston teams-the Texans, Rockets, and Astros. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ramona D. Ramos. Left to treasure his memory are his father, Fernando Cruz Sr.; his siblings Eloy Avila, Maria E. Garcia (Samuel), Andres Ramos (Monika), Melissa Cavazos (Jacob), Maria E. Cervantes (Johnny), and Edelmiro Cruz; his children Fernando Cruz III, Mercedez Cruz, and Carlos Cruz; his grandson Leo Cruz; along with 14 nieces, 17 nephews, and countless family and friends who will carry his memory always.
