Forrest Timethi-Ashton Courtney

Forrest Timethi-Ashton Courtney of Beaumont, Tx made his eternal exit on September 20th, 2024.

Ashton, as he was favorably known, was born on January 25th, 1993, to Ericka Ann Spears of Pasadena, Tx.

Born with natural talent and ability, Ashton began to teach himself how to play guitar at just ten years old. By middle school, he was able to listen to a song and play it on his guitar by memory. Ashton also enjoyed skateboarding in his teenage years, but it was clear to everyone he encountered, his true love was always music. He continued to play in bands and work on solo projects up until a few years before his passing.

Ashton was predeceased by his grandfather, George Spears.

He is survived by his mother, Ericka Spears-Villamar, oldest sister, Tifeni Roark, and younger siblings, Dakota Villamar, Hunter Villamar, and Maverick Villamar.

Services will be held at the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, Texas on Friday, October 11th, 2024, promptly at 4:00 PM.  The family will receive family and guest at the visitation at 3:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Schizophrenia & psychosis action alliance, an organization that advocates for laws and policies that help support individuals with a variation of psychosis spectrum disorders.
