George was a husband, father, brother, son, friend and the best grandpa anyone could ask for. The love George had for his family is priceless, especially his grandchildren. George loved to help others no matter the cost. He loved to see others smile. Mostly, George enjoyed fishing with Gary, now they are fishing from the sky. George was easy going, loving, the life of the party person and always made us laugh. We will remember him for his love, sense of humor and corny jokes.
And today we rejoice in the life that I and others were blessed with by having George as our father, husband, kin and friend. We rejoice with happy gospel music playing while continuing his daily chores. We rejoice by continuing on, knowing he’s in our heart and soul.
He left us with a smile that night. We are happy knowing he is happy with his creator, parents and Gary (his brother from another mother). No matter what, deep down we rejoice in his life. His corny dad jokes, being the road dog on weekends with his kids. We rejoice knowing he’s waiting for the rest of his family when it’s time to reunite. We rejoice, we rejoice, hallelujah, we rejoice in your life George. We love you and miss you for eternity.
