Gloria Johnson of Pasadena passed away April 29, 2026, at the age of 76 years old.
Born January 29, 1950, in Houston, Texas to Robert and Dolores Lawrence, Gloria grew up and lived her entire life in Pasadena, Texas where she graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1968, later married the love of her life Charles Johnson on March 7, 1970, and worked for Energy Control Products for over 15 years before retiring.
Gloria was known for her compassion, kindness and thoughtful spirit. She never turned a stranger away and was willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and always had an open door. She enjoyed dancing, country music, time with friends and family, and had a deep love for pets.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Johnson; parents, Robert and Dolores Lawrence; sister Deborah Long, and grandson Trevor Cole. She is survived by her children, Tara West (Mike), Sandi Copes (Scott), and Charles Johnson II; grandchildren, Taylor Cook (Codie), Mason West (Avery), Tanner West, Hayden Cole, Charles Johnson III, Jadyn Johnson, Riley Johnson, Will and Kaden Copes; four great-grandchildren and her siblings, Cynthia Monroe, Ty Lawrence, Tina Kone, and Darrell Lawrence.
The visitation will be held at Deer Park Funeral Directors Monday May 4, 2026, at 9:30 AM, and the service will start at 10:00 AM, followed by the interment at Grandview cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tanner and Mason West, Charles Johnson III, Hayden Cole, Dillon, Jackson, and Nick Kone.
