Jane Ann Ferguson Sanders

Jane Ann Ferguson Sanders, age 86, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away on April 26, 2026.

Jane was born on July 9, 1939, in Dallas, Texas, to Ernest Fred Ferguson, Sr. and Bessie Ferguson. She lived a life defined by unwavering faith, love, resilience, and deep devotion to her family.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Jane faithfully served the Lord throughout her life and was a dedicated member of Faithbridge Church in Deer Park, Texas. She found peace and fulfillment in studying the Bible, reading, and prayer. Her strong faith guided her life and touched everyone who knew her.

Jane also enjoyed singing, serving in her church, traveling/cruising with her family, and spending time with friends. Her presence brought comfort, joy, and a sense of peace to those around her.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years - Robert; daughters Robin Woolery (Dalton) and Traci Goodwin (Leon); grandchildren Chris Woolery, Nicole Goodwin, Tommy Goodwin, Dalise Toevs, Robert Woolery, Alex Woolery, Dalin Kennard, Janee Prusmack, Dalton Woolery Jr., Sadie Cox, Rondo Woolery, and Montgomery Woolery; her sister Gay Craft; her brother Ted Ferguson; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Fred Ferguson Sr. and Bessie Geneva Ferguson; her brother, Fred Ferguson, and her grandson, Walker Woolery.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Faithbridge Church in Deer Park, Texas, followed by a 2:15 pm graveside service at Houston National Cemetery.

Jane will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.
