Janet Marie Hoyle Keys, lovingly known as" Nanny" age 85, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026.
Born on July 11, 1940, in Denver, Colorado, she was the cherished daughter of Albert Hoyle and Mildred Harris.
Janet lived a full and spirited life, marked by love, laughter, and the joy she found in simple pleasures. She was a woman who embraced fun wherever she went ,whether she was bowling, playing bingo, enjoying card games, challenging anyone to Scrabble, trying her luck at the slot machines, or relaxing with her crochet projects. Her presence brought warmth, humor, and comfort to those around her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Keys, her son, Tommy Keys, and her daughter, Elizabeth Pharris. And sisters Margie Neal and Carol Heckman.
She is also survived by her sister's Sarah Salazar, Janie Sauzo, Cherlyn Conway and her brother David Tyfault who continue to honor her memory. Janet leaves behind a legacy carried on by her daughter, Debbie Peek, along with her many grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored deeply.
Her life was a testament to resilience, family, and love - a life that touched generations and will continue to do so.Janet will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the comfort she brought to every heart she touched.
