Jeffrey Scott Kyne, 68, passed away on December 2, 2023, in La Porte, Texas. He was born on November 7, 1955, in Madeira, Ohio to John and Charlotte Kyne. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Sobeda (Sophie) Kyne; daughter, Pamela Wooley; son, Daniel Paul Cantu, sisters, Jeanne Wise, Jenny Womble, and Joni Stultz; brothers, Bo Kyne and Jerry Kyne; grandchildren, Jacob Ross, Jeffery Ross, Jeana Ross, and Jasmine Rosenboom; great grandchildren, Sophia Ross, Arynn Ramirez, Tyler Ross, Parker Rosenboom, Jeffery Ross Jr.,Thomas Ross, Morgan Rosenboom, Jackson Ross, Nellie Kolafa, and numerous family members and friends. After 40 years of hard work at Shell Oil, Jeffrey found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. From the perfectly manicured greens of the golf course to the thunderous cheers for Ohio State football.
A dedicated family man, Jeffrey’s eyes lit up when surrounded by the laughter of his grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will endure through generations. His unwavering love and support formed the foundation of a tight-knit family.
Beyond his passion for sports, Jeffrey’s heart overflowed with love for his wife of 46 years, Sophie. Their enduring bond was a testament to the strength of true love, and he took great pride in doting on her, creating a home filled with warmth and affection.
Jeffrey Kyne's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, reminding us to savor life's simple pleasures and cherish the bonds that make it truly meaningful. May he rest in peace, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
A memorial will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Deer Parker Funeral Directors from 9-12 located at 336 E San Augustine St, Deer Park, Tx 77536 followed by a mass and rosary at St Hyacinth Catholic Church at 1pm located at 2921 Center St, Deer Park, Tx 77536.
