Jimmy Ray Turner

Jimmy Ray Turner of Deer Park, Texas passed away February 7th, 2024.  Jimmy was born in Texarkana, Texas, August 21, 1944, to Marshall Allis Gifford and Ellen Fay Turner. He was a Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy for 13 years.  He married the love of his life Carol Ann on February 15, 1975.  Jimmy was a skilled welder, carpenter, and craftsman.    

Jimmy was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed dearly.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Carol, his father Marshall Gifford, stepfather Robert Turner, mother Ellen Turner, sister Ann Scott, and nephew Robert Evans. He is survived by his sons, Justin Turner and wife Leia Coates, Eric Turner and wife Abbie, his grandchildren, Emma Turner, Kate Turner, Paige Turner, and Trace Turner, sister Elizabeth Sims, sister Phonie McAllister and husband Dennis, sister Frances Russell and husband Bill, sister Robbie Barnett and husband Donnie and brother-in-law Tony Scott.

Memorial Service will be held for Jimmy 11:00 AM Friday February 16,2024 in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors.
