Kenneth Frank Devlin, Born Feb 27, 1926 in Rochester, NY to Gladys Goodman and Henry James Devlin, died Sept 17, 2009. Ken was a longtime resident of Deer Park. He was well known around town as the Old Man and was seldom seen without his dog Molly. Kenneth proudly served his country in WWII as a gunner aboard the USS New York. He is survived by his wife Delores Curtis Devlin; Three sons Michael J. Devlin & wife Connie W., Shane E. Devlin & wife Rhonda & Daniel Devlin; Grandchildren Joseph & wife Cortney Gueberra, Shelly Burnworth, Mellissa Shephard & husband Tony & Robert Carroll; Great Grandchildren Pvt. Kody Thibadeaux U.S.M.C., Ashley Burnworth,Trystan Hurt; Mark & Mckinsey Carrol; many Nieces, Nephews and cousins. Kenneth was blessed to have had many close friends he considered family. Among them are Fred McGinnis and Martie McNair. At Mr. Devlin request there will be no Funeral service. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association in his memory.
