Kenneth Ray Martinez Sr.

Kenneth Ray Martinez Sr., 66 years old of Rosharon, TX, passed away on October 3, 2025. He was born September 1, 1959, in Cuero, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Odelia Martinez and brother Raymond Martinez.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Isabelle Martinez and his two sons Kenneth Martinez Jr. and Dallas Martinez (Taiya). He leaves behind 4 wonderful grandchildren, Angel Martinez, Penelope Martinez, Amilliano Martinez and Allina Martinez. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Odelia Cross (Eddie), Delores Becerra, and Erica Barnes (Raymorris). His two brothers, Joe Martinez (Diana) and Randy Martinez. He has numerous nephews and nieces.

He was a graduate of Brazoswood High School. He attended the University of Houston with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was a member of the Architectural Institute of America. He worked at Dow Chemical for 27 years. He briefly worked for The United States Airforce. In his various roles, Ken had the opportunity to travel extensively, which he truly cherished. He found great joy in exploring different cultures and learning from them.

Ken was full of life and had a remarkable gift for bringing joy to those around him. His laughter was contagious, and he was truly the life of every gathering. He took immense pride in his sons and was affectionately known as 'Daddy Pops' by his grandchildren, who adored him deeply. Ken’s vibrant spirit and loving heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
