In Loving Memory of Kennieth Washington
Kennieth Washington, 52, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2026, at 2:07 p.m., after a courageous battle with cancer. He went to rest with our Lord in heaven, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.
Kenneth was born on August 25, 1973, in Port Arthur, Texas, to his loving mother, Geraldine Babineaux, and father, Arthur Pollard.
He was a proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 1992. Kennieth was an exceptional salesman, known for his charisma and humor—often joked that he could sell you your own shirt right off your back. He was also a highly skilled and talented floor technician, with a work ethic and expertise that set him apart. There was no job too big or too small for him to handle.
Above all his accomplishments, Kennieth will be remembered most for his heart of gold. He was a truly beautiful soul—kind, selfless, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a rare and genuine spirit that touched everyone he met. Even animals were drawn to his warmth; he had a special way of connecting with them, especially dogs.
To know Kennieth was to love him. Words can hardly capture the depth of his kindness, love, and the impact he made on those around him.
Kennieth leaves behind his beloved wife of eleven years, Veronica Pena.
He is also survived by his stepchildren: Leonardo Pena, Danniell Pena, Gerardo Pena, Crystal Marie Pena, and Miguel Angel Pena.
His biological children: Kenniesha Dyshawn Washington, LaTrentin Jacody Washington, and Kennlie Washington.
He is lovingly remembered by his In laws, sister -in- law, brother-in- laws Brother, Sisters, Cousins, Uncle, Ants, nieces, nephews and extended family members, and dear friends.
Kennieth would like to thank all of his family and friends for the love, support, and beautiful memories shared throughout his life.
This is not goodbye, but “until we meet again.” Though he may no longer be seen, his presence will always be felt in the hearts of those who love him. When you look up at the bright shining sun, know that he is smiling down on you, just as he did here on earth.
Thank you again for all the love and cherished memories. These are the treasures he carries with him for eternity.
Until we meet again.
With love always,
Kennieth Washington.
