Obituary
Kurt Lee Porter was born in Pasadena, Texas on March 8,1979. And passed away unexpectedly, at home on July 16, 2023. He was born five minutes prior to his twin brother, Kyle. They shared a close bond their entire life. He worked at Zachary Group, alongside Kyle. He enjoyed his work and worked with computers at home in his off time. He was a Trekkie, was knowledgeable about the Bible, Guns, Military History and weapons.
He was serious most of the time, he never liked to have his picture taken. But he did like jokes, one of his favorite jokes was pranking SPAM callers. He would waste some of their time and get a big laugh.
Kurt never had children, but was as close, and loved his brother’s children, as if they were his own.
Kurt was preceded in death by his infant sister Kara Lynn, he is survived by his parents Steve & Sherri Porter, his twin brother Kyle Porter, his two older sisters Kristie Farris & her husband Robbie, Kimberly King & her husband Mike, 11 nephews & nieces.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 29, 2023 in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, Texas, 77536. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
