Leonard Joseph Jones

Leonard Joseph Jones was born March 8th, 1951 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the oldest child of Theresa Mae and John Oscar Jones. He attended local public schools and graduated from La Grange High School in 1969. After graduation Leonard enlisted in the United States Navy. Leonard later was a truck driver.

He was united in holy matrimony in 1974 to Susan Edith Klingensmith. To this union two children were born William Jones and Brian Jones. Leonard was deeply involved in Boys Scouts of America as a Cubmaster and Scoutmaster. He spent a lot of time taking his sons on camping trips along with their friends.

Leonard Joseph Jones departed this life on December 4th, 2023. He is preceded in death by his wife Susan Edith Jones; parents Theresa Mae and John Oscar Jones; siblings Carolyn Redd, Carl Wayne Jones, and Ronald Lynn Jones.

Left to cherish his memory children William Jones and Brian Jones; daughter-in-law Courtney Jones; grandchildren Johnpaul Jones, Bayleighmae Jones, Emma Hubbard, Layla Hubbard, and Lola Hubbard; niece Katelyn Cheyanne Bufford; nephew Steve Soileau; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other friends and family.
