Louella "Lolly" Catherine Faust

Louella "Lolly" Catherine Faust was born on June 11, 1951, in Grayling Michigan. She passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at home peacefully from cancer. Lolly came from humble beginnings growing up in Michigan as the daughter of Marie Florence Tomes and James E. McBride. Lolly was the very first baby baptized at St. Michael Catholic Church in Grayling MI in July of 1951. She followed her sister to Texas in the early 70's to begin anew in a sunnier place to raise her children. She was a forever adoring Elvis fan who often enjoyed listening to his records when relaxing drinking her Pepsi. She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman with a fun sense of humor who adored her family.   

Lolly is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, David James McBride and Joseph Enouch McBride and niece, Susan Marie McBride. She is survived by her sister, Roberta June McBride, children, Lisa Maria Tapia, Erica June McBride and Gregory James McBride, her “lucky” seven grandchildren, Taylor Timothy Tapia and husband Shane Flynn, John Anthony Tapia, AnnMarie Tapia, Justin David Romero, Isabelle Celestina Romero, Katelena Nichole Brackett and Brannon Lee Brackett and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in Deer Park on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Grandview Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Deer Park Funeral Directors on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Rosary at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E.
