Mack Ray Harvey

Mack Ray Harvey, age 82, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Mack was born on January 27, 1943, in Beaumont, Texas, the youngest of three children of Raymond and Margaret Harvey. He graduated from French High School in Beaumont and went on to work in the construction industry, which took him to many parts of the world. During his time working in Korea, he met the love of his life, Soon Myung Park, and they were married on June 28. Together, they built a life founded on faith, love, and devotion.

Mack was a man of deep faith. After committing his life to God, he never wavered in his walk, continually sharing his testimony and offering help and kindness to all those he encountered. His dedication as a husband, father, and friend touched countless lives. He retired from Shell Oil Company in Deer Park, Texas.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Harvey; his sister, Aileen Mafouz; his children, Clint Harvey, and Brenda Weinberger and her husband Timothy; and his cherished grandchildren, Christian Harvey and Makayla Gaast.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Margaret Harvey, and his sister, Doris Adams.

Though deeply missed, the lessons Mack taught and the love he shared will continue to live on in all who knew him — a lasting testament to a life well-lived and a faith well-kept.

A graveside service will be held at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Jasper, Texas, on May 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m with Pastor Mark Ainsworth officiating. We will be there celebrating his life and honoring his memory.
