Marcos Vialpando

Marcos Vialpando October 29, 1960 - December 1, 2024, Marcos Vialpando, born on October 29, 1960, in Houston, TX, was the beloved son of Stella and Augustine Vialpando. He was a cherished brother to Gloria Jean Vialpando and Jose Cruz Vialpando.

Marcos dedicated 45 years of his life to his work as a pipe fitter, for the Pipefitter’s Local Union #211-- working at numerous companies such as Gowan, Porter, and MLN. His commitment to his craft was unparalleled, and he was known for his exceptional problem-solving skills and dedication to his work. Marcos was also an avid bowler, earning numerous awards over the decades, including perfect games of 300, 299, and 298, as well as an 800 series and three consecutive 11-strike games. His passion for bowling was a testament to his determination and skill.

Though he faced numerous health issues for many years, Marcos's love for his family never wavered.

He is survived by his two daughters, Nikki Plata and Tiffany Vialpando, his son-in-law, Ruben Plata, and his grandchildren, Zoe Plata, Kimberly Plata, and David Plata.

He also leaves behind his Uncle Danny DeHoyos, Aunt Connie Riojas, Aunt Linda DeHoyos, and many coworkers turned brothers.

Marcos was a hardworking man who loved his family deeply.

He was known for his witty sense of humor, his willingness to help others, and his comforting words.

As a spiritual man, he found solace in attending church and sharing his faith with those around him.

Marcos Vialpando was a one-of-a-kind son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

His legacy of hard work, love, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

The family will receive family and friends at the visitation on December 07, 2024, at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, Texas

Service will follow at 11:00 A.M.
