Mark Allan Faucett, son of George Allan Faucett and Peggy Sue Bates passed away peacefully with his family by his side, December 28, 2023. Mark is survived by his father George Allan Faucett, two brothers Greg and Anthony, and two sons Brandon and Joshua.
Mark was born in Dallas, Texas. His adolescent years were spent in Dallas, Richardson, and San Antonio, Texas. During his late teens he moved to Puerto Rico where he became an accomplished surfer. He played the guitar and enjoyed music. He married young and subsequently parted ways. During his early twenties he worked as a carpenter and welder, among other jobs.
He attended San Diego State University where he earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts. As a member of the Screen Actors Guild, he worked for various modeling and advertising agencies. Mark could be seen on the cover of Flying Magazine and was even on the soap opera General Hospital.
Mark continued his education, earning a Law Degree at the South Texas College of Law. Mark eventually married again, and settled in Deer Park, Texas. Along with his former wife Karen, he raised their two sons, Joshua, and Brandon. He practiced law and provided legal counsel as a Public Defender.
Mark was a loving man. He was proud of his sons. He was also very fond of both his grandmother and mother. He spent much time with them and provided comfort for his mother during her final years. In loving Memory, Mark will be missed by all. May he rest in peace.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine St., Deer Park, Texas 77536
