Mary Louise Jones

Mary Louise McClesky Jones, 84 of
Deer Park, passed away on September 4, 2005. She was born to Henry McClesky and Estelle Herrington McClesky Way on June 22, 1921, at King, Coryell county, TX. She was Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bryan Jones, Jr. She is survived by her son Larry and wife Madlyn; Granddaughter Jackie; Son Steven, all of Houston. She attended grade school at King, and high school at Gatesville and Pearl, where she graduated as valedictorian in 1937. She received a BA degree from Texas Woman's University in 1941, and a M.ED. form Stephen F. Austin State College in 1960. She lived in Deer Park since 1960. She taught School for 44 years, the last 25 years at Carpenter Elementary in Deer Park, retiring in 1985. Graveside services were held 2:00 PM Tuesday at Turnersville Cemetery, Coryell County, Turnersville,TX.
