Mavis Louise Shafer,80 of Houston, died August 25, 2005. Ms. Shafer retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 35 years of Service. Ms. Shafer was preceded in death by her husband Gordon W. Shafer. She is survived by Two Sons Glenn Shafer and wife Annette, Deer Park, David Shafer and wife Cheryl, Houston; Brother Martin Magehee, Jr and wife Mabel, Tomball; Sister Bernice Fritsche and Husband Leroy, Houston; Two Grandchildren Laura Shafer and Lynn Shafer. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, August 29, 2005 at The Founders Chapel, Grace Presbyterian Church, 10221 Ella Lee, Houston. For those desiring memorials may be made to The Susan G.
