Meribeth Carilynn Collard, born on April 20, 1958, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, peacefully passed away on November 18, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Meribeth pursued higher education at the University of Texas, where she cultivated a passion for learning and growth. However, her greatest joy came from spending time at the beach with her beloved family. Meribeth was renowned for her sweet and goofy nature, always bringing a smile to those around her. Her compassionate heart knew no bounds, as she consistently prioritized the needs and well-being of others above her own. Meribeth's kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. Meribeth is survived by her devoted husband, Rickey Collard, who stood by her side through thick and thin for 41 years. She is also survived by her loving children: April and Jerry Garrett, Misty and Chris Herbold, Taylor and Chris McClure, Rickey and Courtney Collard, as well as her cherished fur baby, Mitzy Collard. Moreover, Meribeth leaves behind adoring grandchildren: Zachary, Bryce, Zoe, Dixi, Adalyn, and Parker, whose lives she enriched with unconditional love and affection. In her passing, Meribeth Carilynn Collard leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever treasured by those who knew her. May her soul find eternal peace and her legacy of kindness inspire us all.
