Ora Mae Glasscock Tacker

Ora Mae Glasscock Tacker beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 30, 2024.  She was born to Elmo and Artell Glasscock, February 7, 1944.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dwain Tacker, their daughter Judianne Tacker , her brothers Jim and Lee Glasscock, and her sister Geneva (Sissy) Harty.

She was married to Dwain for 30 years and is survived by daughters Betty Garoutte and her husband Wayne, Dwainia Alford and her husband Ronnie, Artell Shelby and her husband Robert.  Grandchildren Michael Thomas, CJ Meyers, Amber Rosenfeldt, Heather Goodman, Rhyan Kello, Rutker Bauschke, Aaron Alford, Dwain Pound, RJ Shelby and Trent Shelby.  She has eleven great grandchildren and one on the way as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Ora was a true servant and loved serving in her church and in life.  She could always be found helping others and met many needs.  She was a dedicated grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday May 6, 2024 at First Baptist Church Deer Park, 438 E. 8th Street, Deer Park, Texas 77536. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time at the Church.  Interment Grandview Cemetery. Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, Texas 77536.
