Oscar Obdulio Lopez

Oscar Obdulio Lopez, beloved father, passed away on Monday December 22, 2025 at the age of 74.

Born on January 12, 1951 in Ciudad de Guastatoya, El Progreso, Republica de Guatemala. Oscar was known for his dad jokes, his dance moves, love for history and western movies, and his love of music. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was proud of the time and love he poured into his family, friends and strangers.

Oscar enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading National Geographic, watching war movies, cartoons, westerns and spending time with family.  Oscar will be remembered for his laugh, advice, generosity, and his silliness. He is survived by his loving wife, his son, two daughters, Lyliam, Ralph, Jessica, Wendy and his three grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas (Nicky) and Ashley (Morena).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 27th at Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine St. Deer Park, Texas 77536. 

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered - Forever Lopez!
