Patrick Bacon Brooks

Patrick Bacon Brooks, 62, of La Porte, Texas, passed away on May 7, 2025. Born on January 15, 1963, in Houston, Texas, Patrick was a devoted father, grandfather, and community member whose life reflected deep commitment to family, service, and tradition.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ralph and Patsye Brooks.

A proud graduate of Pasadena High School, Patrick went on to work for the Deer Park Independent School District. He was also a dedicated supporter of the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo, where he was actively involved for many years.

Patrick was a committed Mason, involved with three local lodges—Pasadena, La Porte, and Alvin—where he built lasting relationships grounded in brotherhood and service.

Patrick is survived by his loving children, Christopher Brooks and Jennifer Brooks; his stepchildren, Joey Dalager, Thomas Dalager, and Sarah Duncan; and his cherished grandchildren, Dexter Brooks and Jaelon Brooks.

He will be remembered for his generosity, strong values, and the legacy of love and service he leaves behind.

Funeral service will be in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral on Friday May 16, 2025 at 6:00 PM. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until service time.
