Roger Allen Pool

Roger Allen Pool, age 84, went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2023.  He was born January 21, 1939 in Hartington, Nebraska to Kenneth and Anna Pool.

Roger was a devoted husband, the most loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He was preceded in death by his oldest child son Russell Pool and grandson Ronny Pool. He is survived by his sister, Darlene, brothers Larry and Dennis. Roger’s children; son Raymond Pool and wife Michelle, daughter Laura Pool, Kimberly Scoggins and husband Butch and Sean Pool. Grandchildren; Brady Warren and wife Lorina, Matt Scoggins and wife Chrystal, Kelsie Wade and husband Craig, Raymond Pool Jr. and wife Kassi, Heather Benbrook and husband Andrew and Zachary Scoggins. Great Grandchildren; Layla Pool, Landon Benbrook, Lahna Benbrook, Gwen Wade, Rowan Scoggins, Kai Scoggins and Veronica Wade.

Roger graduated from Hartington High School then joined the US Army in 1957 and served until 1959 as a Medic and was called back in for the Cuban missile crises in 1961 and served 10 more months. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.

Roger is a faithful Christian and loved the Lord and his church family.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 20th, 2023 at 6:00PM in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine St. Deer Park, Texas.
