Ronald (Ron) Edward White

Ronald Edward White, age 76, went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2023. Ron was born March 24, 1947 in Hope, AR to Roy and Lucille White.

Ron was raised in Deer Park, TX. He graduated from Deer Park High School and was awarded a baseball scholarship to attend Rice University. He went on to graduate from Rice and lead a successful career at McDonough Marine becoming the Vice President before retiring at the age of 70.

Ron’s hobbies and interests included playing golf with friends and co-workers, family gatherings, hosting family holiday parties (especially the we games played), spending time with his grand and great-grandchildren, volunteering his time umpiring little league baseball, refereeing youth basketball, traveling with his wife and much more.

Ron was loved by many and will live on through the many memories we all shared with him.

Ron is survived by his Wife, Linda White; Sister, Cindy Thomas; Son, Mark White; Daughter, Karen Pierce (White); 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many other loved ones.

Ron passed peacefully while in the hospital due to heart complications.

Services will be held at Deer Park Funeral Directors 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, TX 77571 on Monday, November 27 from 11AM-1PM. Graveside service to be held at La Porte Cemetery South 8th Street, La Porte, TX 77571 at 2:00 PM.
