Ruth Jeter

Ruth Jeter was 83, of Anacoco, Louisiana, passed away peacefully June 15, 2026 at home surrounded by her family.

Ruth will be remembered for her loving heart, kindness, bright smile, strength and devotion to her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Jeter; brother, Joseph Strickland and parents Claudie and Edna Strickland. She is survived by her sister Linda Adkinson; children, Roger Jeter, Gayla Macey and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Robert King and wife Samantha, Jonathan King and wife Nicole, Ashley Ashley and Husband Doug, Chase Overstreet and wife Jennifer, her great grandchildren, Keely, Corey, Braelon, Elliot, Faith, Skylar, and Layla and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held for Ruth at Deer Park Funeral Directors 11:00 AM Saturday June 27, 2026. Any flowers ordered can be done through Flower Cottage.
