Susan Edith Jones

Susan Edith Jones was born January 14th, 1954 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, middle child of Esther Rose Steffey and William Vernon Klingensmith. She attended local public schools and graduated from Kittanning Senior High School in 1973. She later received her certification in teaching.

In 1974 Susan married Leonard Joseph Jones. To this union two children were born William Jones and Brian Jones. Susan treasured not only her children, but the boys in the Boy Scouts as well as the children she taught. Her home was where her sons’ friends came to eat good food.

Susan Edith Jones departed this life February 3rd, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents Esther Rose Steffey and William Vernon Kingensmith; sibling Thomas Vernon Klingensmith; husband Leonard Joseph Jones (deceased on December 4th, 2023).

Left to cherish her memory are her children William Jones and Brian Jones; daughter-in-law Courtney Jones; grandchildren Johnpaul Jones, Bayleighmae Jones, Emma Hubbard, Layla Hubbard and Lola Hubbard; siblings Sarah Catherine Wohlfeil and Martha Annabel Klingensmith; brother-in-law Valeriano Navarro Jr; cousins and a host of other relations and friends.
