Walter Lee Coodey III

This is to remember the life of Walter Lee Coodey III. Although his birth name was Walter, he was mostly known as Coodey. Walter gained his wings and was reunited with his parents, brother, and two sons on January 26th, 2025.

Coodey will be remembered by wife Connie Coodey of forty-four years, second son; Tommy Coodey, his only daughter and son-in-law: Rebecca and Jeremy Johnson, and all his grandchildren; David, Damon, Laela, Amber, Kat, Hailey, Ariel, Jessie, Keira, Bryonna, Gavin, Brayden. his sister and brother-in-law; Lavena and Jeff Bonifield, along with many other nieces, nephews, friends, and family. Coodey was proceeded in death by his parents; Walter Lee Coodey II and Kathy (stepmom), Shirley and Don Kennedy (stepdad), Brother; William Coodey, and two sons: Walter Lee Coodey IV, and Jason Coodey.

Coodey was an amazing father and grandfather who grew up in Oklahoma City. Walter loved to take his children camping, hunting, and fishing. He was a well-respected man who loved his family, and old western shows (especially The Rifleman). Walter spent many of his working years at QIS, where he made many new family members as a Nase Level 3 Inspector.
